Janice Galbraith - Sales Associate Expertise: Sales, Property Management Janice Galbraith moved from Vancouver, BC to Mexico in 1975. She worked in an exclusive Mexican beach resort for five years as the personal assistant to the owner. She was responsible for public relations and sales, working with clients from all over the world. Janice's daughter and granddaughter spent six years with her at Lakeside, and her two grown sons visit from Canada. Cecilia Walters - Sales Associate Expertise: Sales; Languages - English,Spanish & some French; Public Relations Cecilia Walters was born and raised in England, and found her way to Mexico via South America. Arriving Lakeside in 1978 with her two-year-old son, Nyah, she found she loved the friendly people, the great climate, and the general ambiance. Having educated her son here, she is familiar with the school systems both Lakeside and in Guadalajara. She began listing and selling Lakeside properties in 1990. Flip Nicholson - Sales Manager Expertise: Sales, Construction Before Mexico, Flip covered a lot of ground between the Rockies and the Midwest. Judy Martin - Agent Expertise: Sales Judy was a Coldwell Banker realtor in Sacramento, California for years. Her mother was stricken with Alzheimers and as her disease became more and more debilating, Judy needed to find a place to care for her full time. A dear friend was relocating to Ajijic and suggested that she check out the wonderful facilities available Lakeside. Mark Turford - Sales Associate Expertise: Marketing, Sales, Bilingual Skills Mark Turford, originally from London, England, is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and Mexico. He came here in 1991 and married Claudia. Since then they have been living happily ever after here Lakeside, apart from a brief sojourn in South America. They have a son Derek and a daughter Tanya. Mark's parents have lived here since 1992. During his years here, Mark has enjoyed being involved in research, teaching, and public speaking assignments in the Mexican and expat community. As a Realtor, he recognizes the importance of carefully analyzing prospective buyers' requirements in order to guide them towards the properties that best meet their specific needs. Luis Antonio Desales - Reception/Advertising Expertise: Advertising Luis Desales is one of the friendly voices you will hear when you call the San Antonio Tlayacapan office. Originally from Chapala, Luis has worked with Dixie since 1998. He handles a wide variety of office tasks. Luis is a tenor in Redes y Cantos de Chapala - we don't know what redes (nets) has to do with songs of Chapala - and has been singing with the group for 19 years. I have been working in sales since I was 16, first as a sales representative for several medical laboratories, Farmasa Schwave and Romsa among them. Next, I moved to the graphic arts market, selling digital pre-press equipment for several companies. My husband and I moved to San Antonio Tlayacapan, and I began working for Dixie Nicholson as her assistant. Dixie moved from Colorado to the Lakeside area 18 years ago, with her two children - Bryan 3, and Cassie 2. In 1993, Dixie bought Professional Realty in Chapala. In 1998, she merged her office with David Merryman, who at the time, was the broker of Fenix Realty. The two merged and started Re/Max Fenix. David has sinced retired and Dixie, along with her husband Flip, own and operate two Absolut Fenix offices on the highway - one at the original location in San Antonio Tlayacapan, and their recently opened Absolut office in Ajijic on the highway.
